SXSW Rejects UNITE!!

Submitted for a showcase at SXSW… Got my rejection letter today…

“RE: Philip Nelson
Dear Philip,

Thank you for applying to perform at SXSW. This year, SXSW Music received and reviewed over 10,000 submissions from bands all over the world. Unfortunately, this means that SXSW must turn down many artists.

With that in mind, SXSW will be unable to offer Philip Nelson a showcase this year. Please be assured that the materials were given full consideration.”

Guess that means I hit plan B!… Anyone that knows me KNOWS I don’t take no for an answer when it comes to things like this! :)
